Explore our Drive Through Safari, either from your own vehicle or from our wheelchair accessible Safari bus, which is also installed with Hearing Loops. Accessible toilets are available both at the entrance to the safari and at our African village pitstop. This is your opportunity to see lots of animals from across the globe! From family favourite Rothchild’s giraffe, our new pack of African painted dogs, lions, tigers and more.
Back in the main park, there’s plenty more to discover. Our boat safari is wheelchair accessible and gives you the opportunity to feed our noisy sealions, and wave at Gorilla Colony and our Colobus monkeys. Near our Main Square, you can find Accessible toilets, complete with an adjustable changing bench and hoist. There are also accessible facilities in The Chameleon Tree, Adventure Castle and near the Jungle Cruise.
Enter Longleat’s past with a guided tour of our iconic Elizabethan mansion. These tours are wheelchair accessible but limited to one wheelchair per tour due to safety. Light levels are carefully controlled for conservation, so will vary throughout the tour.
Continue your journey through Jungle Kingdom and Animal Adventure to see our adorable Red Pandas, fluffy Southern koalas, mischievous meerkats and much more.
Don’t miss out on a ride aboard Longleat Railway! Our trains will take you on a ride around Longleat, with fantastic views across Half Mile Pond. We can accommodate one wheelchair user per train in our specially adapted carriage.
All our eateries are fully accessible to wheelchairs, except for the Orangery which is only accessible via steps. The Chameleon Tree Restaurant and Coffee House have gluten free and vegan options.
Adventure Castle is designed for children aged 14 and under, and features a range of equipment accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
Unfortunately, our hedge maze is inaccessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
Service dogs may be brought on site, however not all areas and attractions are open to them to ensure the welfare of all animals.
*Anyone able to provide proof of a disability is entitled to bring a carer free of charge. 2 to 1 care can also be booked in this way – please bring evidence confirming this requirement with you on your visit.
