Visiting the Midlands will leave you with plenty to do, you’ve got the home of Shakespeare and the base of the RSC in Stratford-on-Avon giving you everything you could want from a culture point of view. Plus, you can easily access Wales from here, should you want to explore further.

Of course, there is Birmingham, known as the UK’s second city, you’ll be hard pressed to run out of things to do when in the city. From the shopping centres to historical buildings and theatres there is something to keep everyone amused. The city also has a number of professionally guided tours, as well as city sight-seeing buses and leisurely cruises around the canal.
