Big 7 Travel has revealed the results of their most recent survey which lists the 50th most beautiful places across the UK. We want everyone to be able to enjoy these beauty spots, so we’ve compiled a list of the top 50 with as much accessibility information as we can, so you can easily plan your visit. How many of these spots will you be ticking off your list this year?

Port Sunlight | The Wirral | England
Disability information:

  • There is no public car park, however there is Blue Badge parking on the street on Lower Road
  • There are several attractions located within Port Sunlight, including Theatres, museums and an art gallery. Each of these businesses have their own accessibility guides.

The Dark Hedges | Ballymoney | Northern Ireland
Disability information:

  • There is free parking at the nearby Hedges Hotel
  • The site is free of vehicular traffic
  • There are some wheelchair friendly guided tours around the Game of Thrones areas

Cheddar Gorge | Somerset | England

Disability information:

  • The caves, gorge and lookout towers are all muddy and slippery and can be difficult to navigate in a wheelchair or with mobility aids
  • Staff are on hand to offer help and advice

Belfast | Northern Ireland
Disability information:

  • ShopMobility Belfast provide a range of mobility aids
  • Many of the attractions also offer wheelchairs etc for hire
  • There is on and off street disabled parking, including at all Belfast City Council managed carparks, the shopping centres and SSE Arena Belfast.
