Clarks Village is set to showcase local independent traders in an artisan market to celebrate Somerset Day.
Held annually in May, Somerset Day celebrates the best of Somerset from its economy and culture to its history and heritage and aims to champion the region locally, nationally and internationally.
Joining in with the celebrations, Clarks Village will host a three-day artisan market featuring regional food and drink produce along with handmade arts, homeware and gifts from across Somerset. Stalls will be located throughout the premium outdoor shopping outlet in Street throughout this Friday, May 10, to Sunday, May 12.
The market will feature Wells-made fudge from Go Fudge Yourself, hand-made fused glass art from Shelden Glass along with craft gin distilled in a Somerset quarry from Somerset Distillery and luxury doggy lifestyle products from Smiley Myley. In addition, local designer Jessica Mae Design and Somerset artist Emma Keys Portraits will be joining the artisan market on the Saturday and Sunday with Billies and Tong, with its delicious made-in-Wells biltong, joining on the Saturday only.
As well as visiting the artisan market, guests can shop at over 90 brands at Clarks Village offering up to 60% off RRP, dine out or enjoy a bite to eat at one of its grab-and-go outlets, entertain the family at its adventure play park or relax and take in the stunning landscaped Central Square Gardens.
