Haldon Forest Park is inviting you to try out their selection of new accessible bench designs and share your feedback to help make the forest more inclusive and accessible.

Four benches and two ‘perches’ have been installed on the accessible Discovery Trail and more challenging Raptor Trail for visitors to try. The benches are designed to meet a range of needs by offering different seat heights, armrests and clear space at the end of the benches to allow transfer from a wheelchair or mobility scooter. The perches have armrests to provide assistance when moving back into an upright standing position and the rest points are also experimenting with the angle of recline on the back rest and seat angle.

The team at Haldon Forest Park would like your feedback, so that they can better refine these designs.

So, next time you visit Haldon Forest Park, let us know what you think of the new benches.  The new rest points are easy to spot as they are labelled.

To share your feedback, simply scan the QR code on any bench, ask the Info Pod for a paper survey, or complete the survey online from home.
