Fairytale Farm has been recognised as England’s fastest growing farm attraction, according to VisitEngland’s latest survey of visitor attractions.

The survey reveals that Fairytale Farm experienced a remarkable 130% increase in visitor numbers from 2019 to 2023, making it the fastest growing farm attraction during this period. Notably, Fairytale Farm also led the way in the last 12 months, with a 74% increase in visitor numbers between 2022 and 2023*.

Nick Laister, owner of Fairytale Farm, expressed his delight: “We are absolutely thrilled with the new data from VisitEngland, published last month. I think this has been partly down to the new investments that we have made in the site. In 2023, we unveiled our £250,000 Fairy Dell development, a magical new area featuring giant toadstools for visitors to explore. We are particularly proud that this development is inclusive, with high-level walkways accessible to wheelchair users. Additionally, we invested over £100,000 in our Dino Valley area, introducing new dinosaurs, including one that rises from a pond and surprises visitors with a splash of water.”

Nick continued: “Our success is also a testament to our fantastic team. Visitors consistently highlight our staff as a key part of their experience, praising their welcoming nature and inclusivity. We believe we are the most inclusive attraction in the country and remain committed to developing new attractions and areas of the farm.”

In July, Fairytale Farm received a Travellers’ Choice Award from TripAdvisor, placing it among the top 10% of attractions worldwide based on reviews and ratings collected over the past year.

Nick concluded: “The past 12 months have been truly fantastic for Fairytale Farm. We are already excited about the positive response to our new 2024 attractions, including a unique new dinosaur in Dino Valley that promises to surprise visitors. We have also announced the launch of a Learning Hub, where qualified teachers and experts will offer creative and fun learning experiences for young people of all ages, starting in September. It is an exciting time for us!”
