Two children using the Farmula One go karts

Get ready to become Lewis Lambilton on new Farmula One attraction at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm, launching in time for summer.

Are you ready to be the next Lewis Lambilton this summer? Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, a zoo and conservation charity in North Somerset, have announced an exciting new themed karting attraction right at the heart of the zoo.

Farmula One, an all-action tractor go-kart racing circuit has been created, promising to be a hit with visitors over the age of 5 through to adults, offering pedal-powered fun for little and big kids alike. Creating an all day weather attraction for the summer holidays.

With large, brightly coloured pedal-karts designed as miniature versions of popular real tractors, like John Dere and Massey Ferguson, the new area is now open for visitors to race around a specially designed track, complete with twists, turns, and plenty of opportunities for friendly competition.

The zoo has renovated its Farm Barn at the centre of the park, where farmyard animals are held during the winter months and where lambing happens in the spring, to make a modern, dual-purpose area which also brings welfare improvements. Visitors can race their families and friends on the new track in the summer months while the animals are out in their summer fields enjoying the sun – the farmyard favourites can then return in the wetter months and make use of the significantly improved habitat.

In addition to this thrilling new attraction, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm has made several other developments to the zoo to mark its 25th anniversary. These include enhancements to some public facilities, festival flags and sculptures welcoming visitors to the park and a new 25 year timeline outside The Buttery food barn showing interesting milestones from the zoo’s journey,

As Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm celebrates its quarter-century milestone, the addition of Farmula 1 underscores the zoo’s commitment to visitor satisfaction and continuous improvement. The site enhancements not only provide a more varied and enjoyable experience for guests but also benefit the zoo’s much-loved animals.  As part of a special summer for the zoo as it celebrates its quarter century, Noah's Ark is also hosting the Scarlett Oak Theatre Company, for a series of captivating performances, making it the perfect time for a visit.

Charming yet cheeky animal puppets will discuss their life experiences and the challenges they face through immersive tales of conservation and education for families. With four performances daily, each lasting around 15 minutes, visitors can be swept away by the wonder of nature and the power of storytelling.
