We believe everyone should have access to dance. So we’re making our venues and experiences more accessible to more people.
Relaxed performances are specifically designed to welcome people who require a more relaxed environment, including people with a Alzheimer’s, Autism, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability. There is a relaxed attitude to noise and movement and some small changes made to the light and sound effects.
Curve is proud to offer a programme of accessible performances throughout the year; including Audio Described with Touch Tours, British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreted, Captioned, Dementia Friendly and Relaxed.
We offer a number of accessible performances throughout the year including relaxed performances. For these performances, we adapt the sound and lighting and provide a quiet space with a sensory tent if anyone needs a few minutes away from the action.
